I live in a town called Le Sueur in MN and we are the birthplace of the Jolly Green Giant! ho, ho, ho..green giant! Thats the old song they used to play on commercials when I was younger. Mn has a snowy season and I love it and hate it, it is so pretty but I dont not love the cold and shoveling 14 inches of snow at a time! Thanks for inspiring me Deb you are my DT hero! Thanks for a chance at candy!

  5. Great candy! I live just outside of Madison, WI and I love it. We have good schools and lots of things to do, but it doesn't have that HUGE city feel. Plus we're within 2 hours of Chicago and Milwaukee so if we need a big night out, shopping, family activity, concert...it's all there.

  6. Awesome candy...can you believe I don't have any Basic Grey paper yet?!?!

I miss so many things about living in the states, but I have come to love things here in Korea that I know I will miss when I return home. I love the whimsical way the towns are constructed - they have the coolest street lights and fun buildings and fences. And I love the spicy food. I also love the people here, it is an amazing culture! (but I sure do miss Michaels!!)

  7. That is wonderful blog candy...how exciting!

I live in a small town in Eastern Washington and I love a lot about it...the small town friendships that we make, the 5 minutes or so it takes to get across town, and the fact that I'm here with my husband (I never thought I'd live anywhere other than where I grew up...this is 1700 miles away from there). Ahhhh...

I live in a small country town about an hour outside Adelaide in South Australia. It's very pretty with rolling green hills and gum trees, and after spending years travelling I realised how very lucky I was to have grown up in such a peaceful place!
    Thank you! Shannah

  11. Wow an opportunity to talk about the place I LOVE. I live on the island of Sicily. I have never met a more gracious, generous, friendly, kind of people. I live in an orange orchard, in the middle of a valley that is surrounded by gorgeous mountains that are illuminated at sunrise and sunset. The view of Mt. Etna from my back lanai is unbelievable. I love to sit out there at sunset while drinking my wine. Have I mentioned the Sicilian food. WOW. Thanks for letting me share.

  15. I've lived in a midsized California town and a really tiny midwestern town, and now live in the St. Louis area. Each location had it's advantages and disadvantages, but now I feel I have the best of both worlds...I'm in the midwest, with it's slower paced way of life, but close enough to the big city to get my metropolitan fix. St. Louis has so much to offer in the way of free events, cultural locations, and some great people. Thanks for the opportunity to play along.

I live in NJ, close to Philly. Love that we're close enough to head to the city, but we really live in a quiet small town. So we get the both of two worlds.

  21. We live in an old farmhouse in the country. Far enough away from the city to be isolated, but close enough for it not to be a big deal to go there. The house needs work, and is constantly throwing surprises our way...but when I walk through the doors...I am at ease. Its just so wonderful to love where you live! Thanks for the chance to win some candy.

Living in AZ I have the best of all worlds. Even though we do not have the Season changes in Phx all we have to do is drive an hour up North and we can see the changing leaves and then the winter snow. I grew up in the Midwest and moved here in 1978 and now could not imagine living any where else. I feel very blessed to live here.
Have a great day and TFS.

  37. Oh I'd love to win this!

I grew up in a small town (on a small island in fact), but have lived in large cities for most of my adult life.

I now live in downtown Los Angeles, which is actually kind of a new city - changing from a business/industrial zone to a residential area. I love seeing this place change and grow before my eyes and how there's always something new opening or evolving.
