The idea for today's Stamp Simply card came from the desire to use a card stock scrap that was not quite long enough for an entire card front, hence the vellum layer to extend it to the proper length.
I couldn't help but use this beautiful angel again, I love it so much! Adding this circle of designer print gave the vellum more stability and provided a focal point for an additional stamped sentiment. When fully closed the printed layer from the inside peeks through the vellum.
Layers of designer paper on the inside of the card front hide the glue used in the construction of the card front, and also give extra white space for writing. While the designer paper is a busy print, it can be used as "lined" paper to guide a hidden handwritten note if the writing is kept to the right hand side of the page.
