Masculine cards can be such a challenge! I've have been looking at this "flannel" print in this masculine paper pad for a while and decided to try a masculine card of encouragement with it. The compass motif in the punch-out elements seemed to go with a "walk by faith" sentiment, and so I combined those, adding the tags, ribbon/cording and colored pearls to the card front to tie all the colors together.
Going along with the idea that God's Word is the compass for our journey and that nature allows us to hear Him more clearly, I used a woodgrain stencil with distress oxides and inks on the inside, accented by more of the designer paper, another compass punch-out element and colored pearl.
