Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! My card for today actually might've worked as a Valentine, but it was made as a card of encouragement with my Bible study ladies in mind.
Stamp Simply is excited to be the sponsor for the current Word Art Wednesday challenge. This challenge blog is about sharing the love of the Lord, so our Stamp Simply clear stamps are a perfect fit! I hope you'll join us! I am still having a blast playing with our new Farmhouse Signage series, and since this Miss Betty designer paper arrived along with my order of new colors of distress oxide inks (you'll be seeing those on a project soon!), I simply had to use it. I love how these papers and this sentiment go so well together!
Here's a closer look at the bow so that you can see the die cut pierced heart, tulle, silk ribbon, burlap string, pretty pink flowers and just a glimpse of the light pink rhinestones. This card really is kind of a juxtaposition of masculine and feminine elements...the contrast of the dark woodgrain paper behind the bright colors is rather refreshing, especially since the last several days here have been grey and dreary.
There's more of the measuring tape designer paper inside, along with another die-cut heart.
