Ducky Days!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I have been stamping up a storm, working with some new rubber! Since I've been back from Louisiana my creations have been kinda *hit and miss* (fickle mojo!) but this is a card that just made me happy! I love these bright, fun colors, and this delightful image! Kinda makes you wanna go run through the puddles, doesn't it?!

I am finally getting a large enough collection of Copic markers to actually try to color an entire image, and I had the best time playing with Copic colors on this duck, from Our Craft Lounge's set Ducky Days from i {heart} papers. Sassafras Lass's Bungle Dots designer paper inspired my color choices, and I am pleased with the high and low-lights that I ended up with. I have a tendency to over-blend...it takes a bit of restraint to step back and say *all done!* I used a multiliner to line and dot the edges of the focal image and sentiment. The only embellishments are a few other images from the set, trimmed and popped up on dimensionals. I hope you like it!

I am still working on a few more VSN cards, so maybe I'll see you later!
