If you attended the release party last week, you might have already seen my project, a long tall card featuring an adorable hot air balloon and patchwork printed paper from the Petals and Wings StampTV Kit. This particular print reminded me of a patchwork landscape that one might see when looking down upon the earth from an airplane, or perhaps in this case, from another soaring balloon! It was fun to color this one with Copics and then paper-piece the heart with this darling plaid paper!
The colors of the designer paper perfectly matched the pretty pink of the Thickers that I pulled from my craft stash. I love the contrast, dimension and texture they bring to this project, and how girlie and romantic it is, overall. It is just a happy design that makes me smile inside out!

Oh my! What a pretty stamp set! I especially like the birdies and butterflies :) This beautiful paper pack makes me think of pink lemonade and popsicles! What a cute balloon!
