October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Maybe that's why it's been so heavy on my heart lately! Several of my friends, the women I admire most in life, have personal stories to tell about this dreaded disease. And all my friends have friends who have had lumps that ranged from benign to deadly. Please girls, schedule your mammograms! It's time for me to have one too!

Since today's challenge was to use a monogram stamp and I just got this Celebrate Life set not long ago, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I haven't decided yet to whom I'll send it. My friend Michelle's best friend Cathy is the most likely recipient. I don't know her, but she has recently had surgery and is soon going to be receiving chemotherapy. Hopefully this would lift her spirits and give her some added strength to persevere!

Notes:
Stamps: Celebrate Life! (Technique Tuesday)
Paper: Basic Black, Regal Rose, Whisper White, retired SU! DP
Inks: Regal Rose
Accessories: Pearls, oval punches, MS border punch, ribbon, primas

I'm looking forward to having more time to play today and tomorrow! Hope to see you again soon!
