I just LOVE this stamp set and couldn't wait to get it inked up! I made these for a monthly demonstrators' swap that I participate in. This month's theme was a pocket card....you can barely see Pocket Silhouettes peeking from the top of the card that pulls out. These pocket cards are quick and easy and fun to make. I wanted this one to be girly so I used those gorgeous luminous pearls from the Pretties Kit and some wide Regal Rose grosgrain. The flowers were colored with markers (direct to stamp) with Pretty in Pink, and the stems in Close to Cocoa. Then the petals were *thumped* with Regal Rose. I like the mix of colors and the softness of the watercolor look. I hope you like it too!
Notes:
Stamps: SU! Upsy Daisy, Pocket Silhouettes, Best Yet
Paper: SU! Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Bella Rose DP
Inks: Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Markers, Pretties Kit, Paper Piercer
I'm heading back up to the stamp room to try to stamp a combo card for yesterday's color challenge and today's sketch. There's also week 2 of Leigh's Freaky Friday challenges....this week we are to make a non-Halloween card using a Halloween stamp. I have a couple of ideas that I'm anxious to put to paper. ;) Hope you're having a great week!
