Moonlit Winter Evening

I think of all the challenges, I enjoy the technique challenge the most! I am relatively new to card-making (although I had scrapped for years), so finding new ways to use the tools I have makes me a very happy stamper.

Today's TLC was to make a stair-step fold. At first I was stumped, and wandered around without a single idea, but then I saw the pile of new stamps in their boxes and decided to try to combine a few into a little winter scene. I used some supplies I've had for ages, along with some hand-made paper that was part of a store-bought card that I received from a friend. I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out, although I must admit I want a big glitzy snowflake to put on the front!

Notes:
Stamps: SU! Winter Post, Season of Friendship, Snowflakes wheel
Paper: SU! Night of Navy, Whisper White, LSS gunmetal metallic paper, Bazill pale yellow
Inks: Close to Cocoa, Stazon Black, Encore Silver
Accessories: Markers, stickles, silver cording

Happy Columbus Day! Thanks for coming by!
