Season of Friendship

I'm so blessed! I have a great many wonderful friends, and a few really exceptional friends that are practically like sisters to me...they listen even when it isn't fun to listen, and encourage when the going gets tough. They even give me a little kick when I need it! I don't know what I'd do without them and I'm grateful for each one!

The internet, and SCS in particular, has opened up a whole new world of friendships for me! And now, blogging is expanding those horizons! I was really surprised and tickled that Jacquie tagged me yesterday!

Here are the rules:

I first met Jacquie in the SCS challenges and have gotten to (s)talk with her on several occasions! Here's my list of 7 facts:

1. My blog was listed as one of the new blogs to check out on Stampin' When I Can this morning! Can you spell excited?! ;)
2. I took hula for 4 years (we lived in Hawaii when we were first married)
3. I can make a *mean* gumbo (I'm from Louisiana)
4. I teach basketry to our homeschool girls every year for Easter
5. I LOVE to get my hair cut, and have been going to the same guy for 18 years!
6. Until about two weeks ago I was terrified to apply for any design teams, but I've embraced my fears and made application!
7. I'm kinda afraid of storms! We had a BIG tree fall on our house in 2004 (Hurricane Jeanne), and were out of our house for 6 months while they rebuilt it.

I've gotta go to choir now, but I'll be back later to tag a few friends! So lookout! ;)
