Hoppy Holidays!

It is a brisk, beautiful day in Florida!  Our temperature this morning was supposedly somewhere around 36 degrees, and now the sky is crystal clear blue!  I am enjoying this gorgeous weather from the warmth of my studio, stamping some new projects and finishing up some projects that I started not so long ago.  I have been fighting allergies/sinus infection for about three weeks, but as this cold front pushed through, we finally got some much-needed rain and hopefully that will help those of us who struggle when there's a high pollen count!

A new sketch was posted yesterday on the Our Craft Lounge blog, and this card is my submission.  It features a fun frog with some punny sentiments from Under the Mistletoad!  The colors of this dotted Basic Grey Jovial designer paper were great for this image, which was stamped with Memento ink, colored and shaded with Copic markers.  I used a large nestabilities circle to cut the plaid paper, then sponged the edges of all the papers with tea-dye distress ink.   The layout was embellished with jute-tied buttons, and a  gingham bow on a Tim Holtz memo pin.

Visit the Our Craft Lounge blog to find out more about participating in our sketch challenge!  You can read the guidelines for the challenge, and find lots of great inspiration.  Be sure to link your project when you're finished!
