OCL Sketch

I'm not a huge football fan, but I decided that it would not be cool to let this Our Craft Lounge set sit un-inked when so many of the men in my family really love the sport!  This week's OCL sketch, with its dangling star embellishment, provided the motivation for me to get it out and see what I could come up with!  The result is very different than my typical style, and also quite different than I had envisioned it would be.  At first I was going to use some team colors (some striped designer paper), but instead, I decided to keep things neutral so the options for the receiver remain open (couldn't resist a corny pun )!  It came out very retro but I kinda like it!

Notes:
Our Craft Lounge Football All Star
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink
twill "yard tape" ribbon
black adhesive brads
chipboard star

  1. I absolutely adore this and this set may be on my list as I need to make a graduation announcement for a football player and think this looks fabulous! (I'm trying not to be "traditional")

  3. I'm not a big football fan either, but I sure like how this turned out! The star makes the card. Nicely done, Deb!
