Color Dare!

This week's Color Dare colors are Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue, and Pale Plum. At first all I could think of was flowers, and then I remembered this cute Lelo from Tree House Stamps. I think he is precious, and he looks pretty cute in pale plum and blue!

I stamped Lelo in black ink, then colored him with prismas and baby oil. I used my Copic cool gray marker and blender pen to add a light shadow. Next, I ran a piece of Pale Plum through the Cuttlebug with a reptile texture embossing folder, then swept over it lightly with a sponge using Brocade Blue ink. I cut a mat of Brocade Blue cardstock with my scalloped nesties, making two passes to shorten the length of it to fit my focal image. The ribbon is *recycled* from I can't remember where. I rounded the corners of the focal image panel in order to add some chocolate chip buttons to harmonize with the chocolate chip card base.
