It's Color Dare time again! This week's colors (Baja Breeze, Really Rust, Summer Sun + any neutral) stumped me at first, and then I remembered Asela's set, Flowers for Daisy.
I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper using Memento Ink (I wanted to see how Memento would behave...and it ran a little bit! Next time I'll use Stazon!) Using an aquapainter, I colored in a pale background, then layered in yellow, rust, and brown to give depth to the flower petals. I wanted to use some primas, but none of the flowers that I have (and I have alot!) really made me happy, so I opted to place some jewels and sheer ribbon for embellishments. Since I didn't want to cover up any of my flowers, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card base.
