i {heart} papers DT challenge
You've heard the saying, "April showers bring May flowers." Most of us have had enough of Winter and are ready to welcome the warmth and beauty of Spring, even if only on paper! This month's ihp design team challenge is to use flowers...if you browse the store you'll find all kinds, all shapes and sizes! There are floral papers, embellishments, even floral bling.
I am in LOVE with this beautiful Pink Paislee Queen Bee designer paper. To my friend, Elyse, it has a rich menswear feel, but it reminds me of a lovely decorator fabric. I chose to let some Flora Doodle flowers be the focal point with a simple birthday sentiment. A pair of Artisan Element swirls tinted with Copic markers gives the illusion of leaves or vine...a few clear rhinestones also tinted with Copics bring some sparkle to the design. A pale yellow bow leads the eye diagonally from the flowers through the sentiment.
