For Rachel!

I have a sweet young friend who likes to scrapbook and stamp, and yesterday I received a special call from her mother inviting me to mentor Rachel for her Confirmation class. I thought I'd use today's sketch challenge to make her a card using some scrapbook paper that we bought for our craft session together last Valentine's Day. This Treehouse angel image is perfect for the occasion.

I stamped the image and colored her with prisma color pencils and baby oil. I gave her wings, heart, and ruffle some sparkle with a clear Spica glitter pen, then embellished the corners with a bow and some hugs and kisses using some shapes and letters cut with the Squeeze.

I don't think I do cutesy so well, but I am hoping that Rachel will appreciate the time and the love that went into this card!
