It was created by Melissa Cash who is celebrating her birthday today. We decided to surprise her and design birthday cards using her sketch! We wish you a wonderful birthday, Melissa!
My card for Melissa is made with stamps from the new StampTV kit, Falling for You. I love this delicate image, and paired it with some pretty floral Sweet Threads designer paper from Basic Grey. I stamped the image with Memento ink directly on one of the solid colored prints from the pack, then colored it with Copic markers, cut and embossed it with a reverse wonky rectangle, distress inking it before removing the die. Since I'm traveling with limited supplies I opted to use a single strand of ribbon rather than the three embellishments pictured in the sketch. Hopefully you still recognize the layout, flipped on its side to portrait orientation!
