I just love card kit challenges! The latest that 2RedBananas owner Jeanette sent to us was a texture kit full of wonderful ribbons, glitters and bling! I chose to make a square card with a geometric layout using the dotted and striped October Afternoon paper included. The yummy pink velvet ribbon made a nice frame for the edges of the diamond design. I added a sentiment (a favorite from Wrapped in His Love) inked with markers directly to rubber on a semicircle of vanilla card stock edged with a bit of the stripe, then punched out a couple of hearts to accent. I ran them through my little xyron sticker maker to glitter them up, then made a striped button to match since I loved Monday's technique challenge so much! I just LOVE this wide rickrack ribbon! The shine of the Mardi Gras metallic dewdrops added yet another texture to the mix.
